Dr. Hong, president of KYC and Seba Kim, president of HUBy met with Dr. Ra’wfah Hassan, Director of CDPF in her office, Sana'a on Jan. 26, 2006 and discussed about exchanges of traditional costume between Korea and Yemen. 예멘교류센타 홍성민 회장과 예사랑 대표 쉬바 김은 싸나에 있는 CDPF를 방문하고 라우파 하싼 박사와 한-예멘간 전통복식의 교류에 관한 담화를 나누었다. |

The Cultural Development Programs Foundation (CDPF) aims to study the historical developments of the civil community by analyzing the symbolic meanings of costumes and dresses cited by the Yemeni State from 1948 until 2004. It also aims at expanding the social and cultural environment that encourages values of forgiveness and self-understanding. CDPF는 예멘의 전통복장을 연구하여 1948년이후 근대화하는 작업을 하는 곳으로 오랜 전통을 갖고 있는 연구재단이다. |

The CDPF focused on searching the evidences of leaders’ and politicians’ costumes, both men and women and attempted to find out the reasons behind the absence of such national costumes at present.(Source: Yemen Times) |
